What does this car say about you?

Probably that I'm middle aged, though I'm not!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone loves it, everyone admires it. Even the wife who has no interest in cars whatsoever can't wait to get in it, I even let her drive it every now and then! There's something special that is the XJ - BMW 5's and 7's are two a penny. Merc E's and S's are every where. Audi's even worse.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Absolutely becuase if I didn't, my 15 year old daughter would hate me - she thinks the XJ's as cool as Gossip Girl! XOXO.

What are you likely to buy next?

Either very last of the current shape, or hang on a year for an early new shape XJ - or maybe an XK! Definately a real Jaguar though.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Bought over the internet, travelled over 400 miles AFTER I'd bought the car on the strength of the dealers feedback. Wasn't disappointed, it was better than he said it was!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Always wanted a real Jag!

What was the dealer like?

Great - did everything he said he would, car was ready, immaculate and the transaction dead easy - bought from the dealer in Ascot - superb!!!

What's it like to drive?

Smooth, effortless and oh, my god is it quiet! On a regular journey from Scotland to Cheshire sticking at speed limits I get 34 mpg - four up and fully loaded - and it's a 3.0 V6 petrol!

What's it like to park?

Easy as pie - sensors front and back - but then I always park it in a quiet part of the car park anyway - too many people don;t think when they open their doors these days

Have you had any problems with the car?

This car has been an absolute dream, it is the ONLY car I have ever owned that hasn't needed a repair of some sort. Build quality is well sorted and fantastic! Just been sat for 3 weeks, untouched, ungaraged, during the worst cold spell in 14 years, and started on the first turn of the key!

What's most practical about your car?

Carries me, wife, two kids, luggaage for 3 days away for all of us, and my daughters track racing bike plus all other bits (spare wheels, tools etc) all in the boot! It may be shallow, but it's much bigger than you think and very easy to pack stuff in.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Everything - it's got parking sensors front and back, TV, DVD screens, heated steering wheel, automatic blinds, built in blinds in read door - the lot - and it all works and it all puts a great big smile on my face!
