It turns heads. Many neighbours have commented on what a great car it looks, and all have expressed surprise that it's 14 years old (I added a private reg once bought). Be prepared to spot people staring at your car entranced...

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, later model is my next aim, but going to enjoy this one for a long time yet (hopefully).

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, because of the excellent condition of what is a 14 year old car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Been on the lookout for an good condition used XKR for a while before finally seeing the one I bought.

What was the dealer like?

Helpful and easy to deal with.

What's it like to drive?

Fantastic performer on wide open roads, the noise of the engine is a joy. Around town, it will gulp petrol (<15mpg), and it can feel it's size when negotiating tight bends.

What's it like to park?

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing gone wrong, but did replace the timing chain tensioners as a preventative measure (known problem with pre-2000 XK's.

What's most practical about your car?

Nothing! And that's why I wanted it, let's face it you don't buy an XKR for it's practicality.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The whole car. It puts a smile on my face every day when I look at it, never mind driving it.
