Jeep Wrangler review

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

The Wrangler is an acquired taste. If you want something that doesn't conform to the norm, makes you feel able to go anywhere and brings back old school driving (no automatic systems trying to take over) it is unique and fantastic fun. The ability to easily turn the car into a convertible (front seats just require roof panels being put in boot) is great for wind in the hair driving. Full open top motoring is possible if you have a friend to help remove the back section of roof and somewhere to store it. Dynamically the off road oriented steering makes for a slightly vague on road driving experience and the turning circle is very limited due to the 4x4 system but it is still very easy to drive with smooth auto and gutsy V6. The plus side of the steering and boxy shape is that 70mph is more than fast enough so no risk of losing your licence. If you embrace the fact that the Wrangler is first and foremost an unstoppable off road machine that can still be a good daily drive rather than expect a road focused performance vehicle you will love it's unique character and smile inducing non conformity. I love mine!

How reliable do you find the car?

Had car 10 months and it hasn't required anything done other than the 1st scheduled service

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Awesome what it can do when got the chance to go off road at Jeep owner's club event but also as a daily drive makes me smile everytime I climb aboard and start the 3.6 V6 engine. It is nothing like 'normal' cars and is all the better for it.
