In their own words

We enjoyed our time with the Sportage but the last two years were a change in work location and on the 19" wheels with fairly low profile tyres we found the ride comfort lacking compared to our previous motorway cruises to work daily. I'm sure the lower trims with smaller wheels but chunkier tyres might be better, but you lose out on some nice luxuries and safety kit. The larger tyres only cover about half as many miles as the 17's we had on a 2014 Sportage. The manual box was a big improvement over our previous 2014 Sportage, but the diesel engine every bit as noisy (apart from motorway cruising). Build quality is excellent and the amount of kit (both luxury and safety) makes the 4 trim very appealing and cheap to insure. The Xenon headlamps are good and I especially liked the ventilated seats in Summer. The blind spot/rear cross traffic alert was very useful.

How reliable do you find the car?

5 enjoyable years and 60k+ miles covered without a rattle or loose trim - excellent build quality
