In their own words

Not sure why some people are leaving poor reviews. Having 42 years experience driving many, many different cars, I can honestly say, the Sportage is up there with the best of them. Yes, the car has a few minor niggles, find me one that doesn’t. All modern cars have safety systems, all except EVs are fitted with either a DPF or PPF, (and not everyone has experience of these features) but that doesn’t make it a poor car. Owning the car for 2.5 years has been stress free and enjoyable. The car looks good, drives very well, returns good mpg and if any issue arises, the dealer fixes it promptly, under warranty. I was intending to replace the car at 3 years old, but I’m not going to bother, because it’s great! I would recommend that potential Sportage buyers make their own mind up whether it is suitable for their own needs rather than rely on someone moaning about features that nearly all modern cars have build in.
