In their own words

Firstly, these are very pretty cars and I have the Black version so even prettier. You 100% need the JLR warranty and you will need to carry on buying the extended warranty too. Why, they are not reliable. I purchased at 30 months old and in 18 months. Stop / Start button- stopped working. heater unit - stopped working Locking sensors stopped working DPF - fell off from underneath the car and required re-welding One of the oily gaskets decided not to hold oil anymore. Little bits of internal trim coming loose. SatNav that is amazingly slow. Touch and hope screen. It seems JLR like to see these cars and often. You literally couldn't pay me to have one again. Fortunately I extended the warranty so have avoided the multi thousands these repairs would have cost. That said, if you have deep pockets and can live with these engineering quirks then go for it. I guess you have been warned
