In their own words

Engine replacement on 5 year old, 1 owner, 50k miles luxury SUV.
Bought a top of the range SUV discovery sport, all conceivable extras from landrover.
5 years later it needs a new engine (£15k) because the timing chain (which doesn’t need replacing until 80k-120k miles) snapped.
It also need a new stainless steel exhaust (£1500) and rear boot gas strut covers, popping speakers, intermittent parking sensors faulty.
So far the local garage is raising a case with Jaguar Landrover to see if they will offer any financial aid for the replacement.
Absolutely shocking that a luxury brand living off the reputation of reliability of the defender thinks it’s acceptable for a £60k car to last 5 years and then it start falling apart to the point where it’s worth scrap value only.
