Ok as second-hand buy.

Pathetic MPG in this day and age, engine very agricultural, scary dealers servicing prices.

Dreadful road driving, unbeatable off-road? Don't push it into those bends!
Performance
Not good if you want to get anywhere quick, very slow off the mark but outperforms anything else off-road, which is nice.

Reliability
Shocking! I've replaced gearbox twice and transfer box once, car's done 100,000 miles, mechanics told me they have replaced 'boxes on Discos with less than 40,000 miles! On a 30 grand motor!

I've 1500 miles in two days in mine and can honestly say I didn't mind at all, towing a caravan as well!
