  • Economy

    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

Bought it for a runaround for 12 months when moving house, however still have it 2.5 years later, as it has been reliable and cost little, so far, to maintain. Additionally it's LPG converted, so fuel cost is very low with no difference in performance.

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

Other than routine servicing costs no additional expenditure - rear window failed, due to small plastic clip breaking, but LR want to charge £350 to fit a new motor unit.

  • On the road

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

A little sloppy on the road with a lot of body roll, breaking at speed is worrying, as it feels like it is about to lose control. Checked brakes/steering and advised they are ok.

    Performance

    3 out of 5 3.0

OK - its a 2 tonne lump - so didn't expect much, although having driven Japanese equivalent, it's a dog in comparison.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

No reliability problems to date, except rear electric window.

    Image

    4 out of 5 4.0

Good image - use it almost exclusively in the countryside, so is just very common.

    Comfort

    3 out of 5 3.0

Good space, reasonably comfortable except on long journeys.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

No problems, as yet, Remote is very unreliable.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Independently serviced by a very good low cost garage.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

    Oil pipe leaks.

    Other

Rear window - plastic clip which holds motor arm to window runner, broken, told tiny plastic clip is not a serviceable part and will need to buy a new window motor!!
