Bought import 6k under list at the time, but with full LR warranty.
Costs
Servicing expensive, but only at 12,000 miles - probably on par with other similar value cars.

Great position and has all the gadgets you might want.
Performance
Auto Td5 not quick off the mark, but fine when cruising and great with twin axle caravan.

Good in town or country, quality but not flashy.
Comfort
Plenty of room, good seats, bit noisy on long journeys. Far better than earlier models. I've had 4 Discoverys over 10 year.
