A huge amount of car for your money
Costs
Achieves between 12 and 22 MPG and takes £90 to fill it. A tank only takes you 260 miles!

Just taken delivery of a new B.M.W 5-Series and I still prefer this. Put it in drive and off you go.
Performance
Very good considering its size and weight. 4.0 is sweet and almost as powerful as the 4.6 which is quicker, but harsher

Living with it
Reliability
They all have electric gremlins and are too complex for their own good, the petrol engines all fail at 70 - 80k miles (so make sure if you buy one its been replaced) and the air suspension can have a habit of collapsing and leaving you stranded.
