I suspect that they haven't noticed it but believe that I've grown up because I bought it to replace a 3.0 petrol Jaguar S Type.

Yes probably.

Not really. However, I did get a reasonable trade in and three years warranty.

Economy and comfort.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A very comfortable drive with decent power in sports mode. Very good road holding and secure steering. The fuel economy figures are significantly below those published.
What's it like to park?
Good. The sensors help although the rear view is not good.
