In their own words

I did not want to get a diesel but wanted to have a petrol engine car with good mileage. Having looked at BMW/Mercedes/Audi these were all the same and I wanted something different that came with a few toys as standard. I have had a number of Toyotas in the past and found them a bit cheap on the materials but the reliability was great and hassle free. With the Lexus it takes it to the next level. The equipment on the Executive model comes with goodies that you would pay £10k extra for on a BMW so you will not be disappointed. The ride is smooth and comfortable and little touches like the seat sliding back automatically for the driver entry and exit seemed like a gimmick but now I would not be without it. The dealers are superb and make sure the process of buying and getting servicing is a silky smooth experience where the customer is looked after.
