Value
Excellent value for money originally, but this is the dream one to own second hand.
Costs
Fuel consumption: 27mpg on a run, 17mpg urban, 21mpg combined. Dealership labour rates are now 30%+ higher over 5 years. Parts are expensive as expected.

Driving
Very capable car. Luxury car a joy on a long journey.
Performance
155mph; 0-60 time sub 7 seconds which is very quick for the size of car.

Know of no better car for reliability.

A good fist attempt, but clearly not the same prestige as a Jaguar of Merceded but in fair in 12 years they have surpassed excellence.
Comfort
Some tyre noise, but much better that most; Yokohama tyres are the quietest; Indeed original factory tyres were quieter than new Lexus substitutes; shallow under seat foot height for rear passengers.

Security
Superb, but interior passive sensors used for alarming with dog inside work, but do not always blink correctly to show that they are working on the second setting: disconnecting battery fixes problem.
Service
Expensive on cambelt change; also changed master cylinder (unnecessarily in my view) which was expensive labour wise (2 hours charged for 10min job).
