Would you buy this car again and why?

I think I'd go for an Esprit next time - 0-60 in 5.7secs seems very fast for the first few weeks but then leaves you wanting more!!

Lotus Esprit or TVR Chimera

Did you get a good deal and why?

Couldn't negotiate on price but got a new hood, MOT and service thrown in

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I needed a weekend fun fix, not been disapointed so far...

What was the dealer like?

Very pleasant but back street, the Elan was the best of a bad bunch despite only being £4000 - the dealers flagship car!

What's it like to drive?

I got bored with driving many years ago, this is the first car I've owned since I was 17 that I want to just drive, anywhere for the sheer fun factor!

What's it like to park?

Easy

Have you had any problems with the car?

Niggles, minor electrical problems and lots of rattles

What's most practical about your car?

Nothing
