What does this car say about you?

I wish it could talk! I might get more sense out of it than Mazda Customer service ! If you realy think you should buy one go on the internet and read all the problems they have with this model. Then go and set fire to pound notes I might stop you from making a huge mistake. I have also driven the new 1600 diesel mazda 5 My view is it is better but same suspension problems will happen but engine is now underpowered!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

No Idea.It's a people carrier load carrier tow car It does it well before the problems and lots of Mazda 5 suffer.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Not a chance mazda support at manufacture level is rubbish ! 1st service is more expensive than a Mercedes Benz. The gearbox is stiff on first and second and grates when cold and often hot. All Mazda 5 sports! excessive tyre wear inner edge dangerouse.! front suspension failed at 27000 miles and at 30,000 the suspension was still banging away after 8 replacments on the front suspension struts and bushes! the gearbox bearing [diff] then the brakes became excessively noisy and dragging .....Mazda's chief engineer's answer tyre rotation every 6000 miles cures everything ! Car has not moved from the dealer's in 4 months! They offered me trade price to buy back!

Not a Mazda Ever again ! Mazda Support when the dealer can't fix it is impossible to deal with without being rude perhaps the worst customer service department I have ever had to use. No Sony Uk are just as bad perhaps this is where the Japanese are going .....trading on past reputations.

Sporty looking sliding doors diesel and Mazda realibility [Joke now ]!

What's it like to drive?

Noisy in the cabin above 30 mph Diesel engine sometimes fades on pull away 70 to 85 is very noisy for a car needs more sound proofing but cruses well with good economy Pulls like a train but don't pull away in second it just stalls.

What's it like to park?

Needs parking sensors front and rear apart from that its good to park.

Have you had any problems with the car?

From day 1 the clutch was on the floor and gearbox grated on second even hot ! trim studs missing.

What's most practical about your car?

Nothing I can put my finger on just liked the concept of the car.

Tow bar.
