• Summary

What does this car say about you?

No idea and even less interested!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    No idea.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No - I really wanted a manual version but this one seemed too cheap to miss. It's thirsty for what it is (average 45 mpg with very careful driving). I'm so tight I want a quality car to give me 60 mpg...

What are you likely to buy next?

No idea - I'd look at a Fiesta 1.6 tdci Titanium, Golf 1.6 tdi, A3 1.9e SE, '05-'12 A180 cdi, current Megane 1.5.dci Privilege, Nissan Note or any other hi-spec eco-diesel car.

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £8,000

When did you buy the car?

    April 2011

Did you get a good deal and why?

I thought I got a very good deal as this one was the only B180 I found at book price - all others were way over!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Price compared to virtually all other similar cars for sale at over-book prices.

    What was the dealer like?

Promised 2nd key didn't exist - had to pay almost £300 for old key cancellation/new key purchase, later found that auto wipers don't work. Got threatening emails from him (like a Yorkshire Arthur Daley). Bought as private sale, no warranty.

A doddle with those front and rear parking sensors.
