In their own words

The good point is that it's comfortable. Unfortunately, it's loaded with electronic features that either don't work or are erratic and unreliable. These so-called safety features are actually dangerous. So don't expect the emergency braking to work in time, or the sensors to warn you until after something has happened - even the parking sensors. Also, mechanical things like the boot separator for the convertible's hood regularly fail. The battery for the stop-start only lasts 18 months (new one £350 + fitting). Seat belts don't retract properly, and so on. None of this is rectified under the warranty. Also bear in mind that 9-gear automatics are great in automatic mode but the paddles are a waste of time because you can't click down more than one gear which makes almost no difference. If you can ignore these irritations you can have a smooth riding car that is way better than the 3 Series BMW I had before.
