    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

As a diesel, holds it depreciation well.

    Costs

  • On the road

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

Handling superb, foot brake not as bad as they say.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

    Suprisingly good for a diesel.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

In the 3years i have had the car from M.B, as their demonstrator, it has never failed to start.

    Image

    4 out of 5 4.0

As having always had M.B cars since 1997, and having to work irregular hours within a 24hr day, reliability, rather than image would be my main concern.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Typical, hard M.B seats, very long journeys nedd to be broken up into intervals away from the drivers seat.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

M.B security, means all door closure, after entering car, within 20 secs of closing door. This i found out to true when leaving keys in ignition with engine running. Supposed to stop people entering car at traffic lights etc without permission

    Service

    3 out of 5 3.0

I have always wondered if they actually do exactly what they tick in thier boxes, so this year the few lighting problems and the lack of no gas in the air con unit. Went unchecked by M.B. So having taken the payment out of my account, appoliges all around

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Rust is the most worrying factor, yet you or anyone else never mentions it, always the tailgate or bonnet, on C class and add door rubbers also on the E class, all seem to be estates from W reg 2000. Signs are the start of bubbling, around release handle

Would you buy the same model again?

    Yes

Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
