Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate (2000 - 2007) C200K Classic Selection 5d Tip Auto Owner Review

I have owned the Merc from when it was 2 years old with 17K miles on the clock. I used to get it maintained at main dealers but now just use the local garage,I have done over 170,000 miles and luckily it is still running well. My only disappointment is rust on the wheel arches and boot lid. It has been washed, polished and garaged continuously but still rust. The most surprising thing is that the worst rust is on the off-side away from the curb. I would have thought the car would get greater coatings of wet and mud from the nearside.
