Other Mercedes-Benz C-Class (2000 - 2008) models:

  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

Didn't buy for image but people were surprised when I acquired it. I think it has a bit of a staid image

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

People that rode in it were impressed by the tasteful interior with wood trim

Would you buy this car again and why?

I did try to buy a new estate version to replace C220 saloon but wasn't too impressed or enthusiastic by the interior or exterior or the new model. In the end the local dealers couldn't match my budget so I went for a new petrol engined BMW 3 series estate which claimed good mpg. Big mistake - don't believe mpg claims for petrol powered auto BMW's

What are you likely to buy next?

Will probably go back to C class next time and hope in the meantime that Merc will make their interiors more upmarket.
