Very expensive against competition.
Costs
Bit early to say, but fuel economy good. How come Merc specify relatively short service intervals, when some diesels I see have 20k or more intervals? My CLK has 3k miles and shows next service in 9k.

Smooth as silk, can provide some fun - would be really nice with an additional 1000 revs!
Performance
Top speed is more than adequate - acceleration does not contort my face muscles though!
