Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I shopped around on the internet and found the best possible deal, I paid less than list price and also opted for Metallic paint, leather interior and 6 CD autochanger, because it was the sport model it already had the AMG trim.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I always wanted a CLK ever since the 1st one came out, after the new shape came in I wanted one even more
What was the dealer like?
Decent, bog standard Merc dealer, what you would expect.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent, this is a very fast car, with unbelievable torque and power, in the 40-80 range it is right up there so overtaking is a breeze. On long motorway drives, it eats up the miles. I test drove the petrol 3 litre initially, the salesman said try the diesel its faster and better, he wasn't wrong!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Other than on the first day there was coolant pouring out, after it was taken to the dealer it was identified that a seal had been put in the wrong way round during manufacture, no biggie. Other than that 42,000 trouble free miles and counting.
What's most practical about your car?
It has a large boot which is handy for the golf clubs

The tiptronic paddle change box can be fun at times
