Mercedes-Benz CLK Coupe (2002 - 2009) 500 Avantgarde 2d Tip Auto (02) Owner Review

An amazing vehicle. Very comfortable and has plenty of power when needed! Don't be scared to own one due to the "cost" of maintaining. If you look after the car properly it is very reliable. Like all cars, if you abuse it you will have maintenance costs. My car did have some rust coming through on the rear arches which is a common problem, but got these treated and maintained so there have been no further rust issues. Another common problem is the heater unit plastic cogs break/wear causing a clicking noise from the dash on start up. The dash, or part of it has to be removed to fix, but parts are cheap enough. Mercedes Benz would charge a lot to fix this but its easily fixed by a good mechanic or someone who knows what to do. Overall a superb car. Turns heads everywhere I go. The best car I have ever owned, and will be keeping as I'm certain the Clk 500 will become a classic and a collectors car.
