In their own words

When the Shooting Brake first appeared on the roads, I was driving a C Class estate and set my heart on one. The sleek lines, the space for 5 passengers and oodles of luggage room. I called at my local dealership and expressed an interest in a pre reg should one come up. On that very day, the dealership had taken delivery of a Mercedes staff car with 9k miles on the clock. Sunroof and electric seats made it a must see. The car was transferred from the branch at Stafford down to Stourbridge the next day. The salesman rang me and I went over straight away. The test drive was short, as I can make my mind up quickly about something! What a drive, what comfort and what a looker. The deal was done! I’ve extended the warranty for peace of mind and pay monthly for the service plan. Most of the miles have been on motorway commute of 55 miles each way, every day for 3 years. Not missed a beat and returned 58 to 63mpg. I drove to Carcassonne one day and achieved 64 mpg! Amazing!!!! There’s no other car to grab my attention or desire, so use my 2006 Mini Cooper S convertible to do my 15mile each way commute. If I ever sell, someone will get an absolutely fabulous motor. I’ve protected the seats with quality covers and stuck to original spec tyres. Rims are looking fair, Small corrosion, but it’s patina..........., original. No kerbing at all.
