In their own words

Like - size of the car - plenty of head & leg room (I'm 6ft 4") so the drivers seat has to go all the way back & the passenger behind me still has loads of leg room. Fold the rear seats down & it's like double bed size. Interior trim, seats, carpets - all bullet proof - nothing has ever broken. Auto box is superb, torque for a 2.1 diesel is superb. Economy is brilliant - 60+ mpg on a long run. Engine is simpler to work on than you think. The MAF failed on the car after a year - bought a new one £100 - fitted it myself in less than 30 minutes. Standard stereo is very good, just needs a little more tech. Airmatic suspension failed - Mercedes quoted over £3500 to fix it. I used my local garage & replaced the whole system using the Arnott system for less than £1500. Both the centre ball joints have failed - but then this is a 190k+ miles car. Service bills are low & recommended. Would I buy another one? Yes, definitely - I do like the twin headlamp shaped version but would buy a newer version.

How reliable do you find the car?

Rear Air Matic suspension failed. Front Centre Ball Joints Failed (both sides)

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Its the biggest estate on the market. Hauls loads, is superbly comfortable for motorway driving yet can get swiftly down country lanes with no issues. Returns between 55 - 60mpg on a good run.
