Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate (2003 - 2008) E350 Sport 5d Tip Auto Owner Review

In their own words
Was drawn to the classic timeless styling, especially with this Soort model which sits slightly lower and on wider wheels - has a very attractive ‘stance’ but image is positive and not wide-boy in the slightest like so many cars are. Thunderous performance on tap when needed, paddle gear shifters are instinctively easy and precise to use, the car will tear up the tarmac and grip the road as if on rails. It’s calm and unflustered, feels reassuring in all weather, has that solid, stable, hewn from rock manner about it but remains very comfortable (albeit firm). Had to replace a cambelt, a dashboard fuse and it does eat tyres at £180 each if driven enthusiastically but that isn’t an issue for me. I have thought about replacing the car with a newer model but really can’t see the point, it’s simple to drive, light steering, great turning circle, ok economy, high quality and feels elevated above almost anything else on the road even after almost twenty years. It wins me over every time.
