Mercedes-Benz E-Class Saloon (2009 - 2016) E350 CDI BEFF (265bhp) Avantgarde (SS) 4d Tip Auto Owner Review

I purchased the E350CDI used from a Merc dealership. 5yrs on having close to 95k on the clock, I can say the car has been a really good buy. Given the car is now 10yrs old, it still looks good and you do get alot of car for your money, yes it depreciates quite quickly however from an ownership perspective, I've only had one major issue - a fuel relay, which immobilized the car in the middle of a major roundabout. This needed to be fixed at a Merc dealership and did cost over £1k but that's the only real problem in 5yrs. I've typically used local garages for servicing and only taken it to Merc if needed - some things like the gearbox service can only be carried out by Specialists or Merc. The car is very quick - surprising many hot hatch owners. Ride quality is great, it won't win prizes for going round corners but its fantastic on long motorway runs (just keep an eye on the speedo).
