In their own words

A hugely competent premium mid-size SUV the GLC220d Sport is the entry level model which is well equipped and benefits from the refined 197 bhp diesel combined with the excellent 9 speed 4Matic gearbox which is standard through the range. This model uses the superb MBUX infotainment system with large touch screen display and clever voice control. Front seats are heated and electrically controlled, power tailgate and reversing camera. Fit and finish are excellent throughout. Disappointing that the car has keyless start but not keyless entry and no integrated Apple or Android Connect. The 220d engine was completely revised in 2019 and the new unit is very quiet and responsive achieving 0-60 in a respectable 7.9 seconds. The Sport trim features Alcantara leather, 18" diamond cut wheels and a radiator grill which has a more rugged look than the 'blingy' AMG line model. An attractive coupe version is also available but with compromised load space compared to the standard 'estate' version. In summary, a supremely comfortable, refined SUV, well equipped with brisk performance and reasonable fuel economy.
