Value
A lot of car for the money considering you can buy a small hatchback with no extras for the same money. The big S-Class will win evey time.
Costs
They do cost more to run, but if you're a low mileage driver, it's defitnitely worth it.

Driving
One word to say - total luxury. You just glide along as if the outside world is not there.
Performance
0-60 in under 8 seconds for a two ton car. Can not say much more really.

Reliability
If they have been fully serviced, they are unbreakable and good for 250,000 miles plus.

Like sitting in your favourite arm chair at home, but more comfortable.
