In their own words

An absolute disaster of a car and an experience that I would not wish on most people. The car's a/c didn't work and needed a new pipe fitted, this cost hundreds even without the cost of fitting and worked for about a day before literally exploding underneath the car on my way home from work. The cause I still don't know but I would guess excess pressure built up somewhere.
The car has keyless ignition but wouldn't even recognise its own key even with a new battery fitted inside the fob.
The car had the Magic Vision wiper blades fitted but the only magic thing about it was the way it magicked money out of my wallet when it needed repairing.
The Burmeister sound system is laughably weak for such a huge car and is nothing for Mercedes to boast about. It also lacks Apple CarPlay, Android etc etc. The boot is also small compared to the size of the boot in a w126 or w140.
I would also warn prospective buyers about the sheer width of the car which made it a nightmare when trying to navigate width restrictions.
The electric only range is also far smaller than Mercedes claim.
Finally the range of different tyre combinations is totally bewildering and very expensive. I would steer away from staggered alloy combinations as you will not be able to rotate the tyres.
I would not recommend the w222 to anyone. You're always permanently waiting for the next hugely expensive repair bill.
