Perhaps a bit too well off, but still a boy-racer.

Beautiful - people stand back to stare.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably not - would seek out the CLK55 AMG and have it tuned, as being a bit more family friendly.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Some body corrosion already, loose exhaust mounts, minor interior damage.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The sheer thrill of it.
What was the dealer like?
A nice guy and ready to barter.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Stonking - we've had AMGs before and though this is a bit heavier and not as hairy-crazy as an SLK32 AMG, it's still a beast.
What's it like to park?
Long nose demands attention. Parking aids essential to avoid expensive paintwork.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Little things - seat adjustment relay, roof location pegs, brake pads & rotors.
What's most practical about your car?
Good boot space for 2 seater, excellent winter car with tin-top and LSD.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The roof! Quick, smooth - pity they don't fit the SmartRoof kit as standard. Air-scarf is wonderful too.
