Bought for very little money from a trader - an old car with low mileage, what's not to like? Used to have an MX5 but the new version has no glovebox and I just can't do without the storage in the cabin that is provided by this feature. Love the tin roof - my wife finds it feels much more safe than a rag top. Things work well. An occasional on / off warning light for a bulb somewhere but whenever I check they all work... A bit of rust but nothing to worry about except the boot near the plate which is common and I have had fixed for under 300 quid. The engine is not as good as MX5 but it handles nicely on corners. Recently lost it on a wet mud covered roundabout and was able to correct with ease. What other tin top 2 seat convertibles compete?
