MLC. But they all want a drive.

Would you buy this car again and why?

My first Mercedes and very impressed, not sure i like the look of new model. I would buy another SLK, i think for the money its the best convertible out there.

What are you likely to buy next?

Jaguar XF.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I think i paid a fair price for the car, i bought the car from it's original owner who had all work carried out by MB and was in great condition and had a low mileage.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted a convertible.

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

Stunning performance especially in Sport setting. Grips well but probably not as well as Boxster i have driven. With roof down car performs equally as well, and wind no problem with perspex diffuser.

What's it like to park?

I have to say i park my Navara better than the SLK, the long nose takes some getting used to. Nearside mirror adjusts when in reverse which helps.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Had a major service 3 months ago and they found a split steering rack boot.

What's most practical about your car?

We use the car mainly for holidays, the boot holds a very large suitcase with room to tuck in loose items and still have the roof down.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Electric seats! We traveling long distances through Europe in the summer and being able to make small adjustments helps with comfort. Convenience setting with steering wheel.
