  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

Unassuming but serious about having fun!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Looks like a boring old Rover 75 to most people but to car enthusiasts & men who've never grown up like me - it incites enthusiasm, interest and envy.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, but since they're no longer made - next step would be an MG SV-R to have a really super rare classic that can be driven anywhere easily with untold power but creature comforts to boot.

What are you likely to buy next?

    Mg sv-r.

Liked the private vendor and the honesty of both the car and it's history/paperwork.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted a future classic at a reasonable price that was a bit unusual and had some solid street credibility.

    What was the dealer like?

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fast, very quiet and smooth - not at all harsh even with 18" standard rims.

    What's it like to park?

As good as any other small-medium size car but made easier with factory fitted sensors.

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

One minor wiring problem with a sensor under the seat which is known to work loose after using electric seats, but quickly fixed by Beech Hill MG garage for £20 - great service.

What's most practical about your car?

Plenty of room, loads of accessories and a real "wolf in sheep's clothing".

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Electric factory sunroof, heated leather seats and fabulous V8 burble through the factory standard quad pipes - in my opinion, nearly as good as a Ferrari or an AMG Mercedes(but not quite!).
