Value
Which do you prefer? A top of the range hot hatch or the bottom range B.M.W for the same price! Nuff said!
Costs
I found the fuel economy was about the same if you're cruising or if you're flooring it so you might as well have some fun and tank it! Added bonus was TLC 5 year servicing package was chucked in for free after some haggling!

On the road
Driving
Being on the short side standard options such as bucket seats,height adjustable seats and steering wheel adjustments even mean i can achieve the best driving position! Takes corners at ease so much so scooby's (subaru's) leave you alone!
Performance
Superb overtaking capability when knocking down the gearswatch peoples faces turn to their side when the scream on the charger passes by! Personally prefer this to a turbo.

Probably too early to judge but no problems after 9 months.Started first time after 2 weeks holiday.

You must personalise your mini it's well worth it for all the admiring glances you will get everywhere!
Comfort
Very stiff suspension not to everyone's liking, but combined with the sports seats i love the feel of the road beneath my feet much to the annoyance of my parents!!

Thatcham category 1 alarm/ immobiliser comes as standard so excellent protection along with the deadlocks/ central locking.
