What does this car say about you?

That I think too much of what I look like, with no thought about who I am.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Actually thought it was a pretty good car to buy; but they didn't have to drive it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Clearly NOT. I have some self-respect now.

What are you likely to buy next?

Something bigger and I'll be careful to buy with eyes wide open and ignore the hype. The original Mini set a trend and made it possible for people on lower incomes to be able to drive a car. This imitation has nothing in common with the original - it's for anyone who doesn't mind spending huge sums of money on a car worth far less.

    August 2007

Did you get a good deal and why?

No discounts, but thought it was because the car would be good.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Thought a small car would be better for us.

    What was the dealer like?

Slick and glitzy but with no substance - just like the car in fact!

  • Driving it

    3 out of 5 3.0

    What's it like to drive?

Actually quite good, which was the clincher for me in buying it. Very peppy and I expect it sounds good, if one can only block out the squeaks!

    What's it like to park?

Esay. But how important is that in the scheme of things?

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

From the moment I took delivery, it rattled and squeaked and I used chewing gum paper to pad out the worst of the noise on my way home. Then the central console between the seats broke. The writing was on the wall.

What's most practical about your car?

    Nothing.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I liked the novelty of the trim with the circular theme but it's all about being 'showy'!
