MINI Countryman SUV (2017 - 2024) Cooper S Exclusive Steptronic Sport with double clutch auto 5d Owner Review

Stunning looking car. Great size for family.
I do mainly motorway driving which this is perfect for. I find the seats reasonably comfortable.
Plenty of power but kickdown can be a bit slow to respond at times especially from stationary at roundabouts. Sometimes hesitant and sometimes you can launch like a maniac.
First impression at driving away from the dealer was the wind noise but you get used to it.
Niggles: electronic indicators can be a bitch to cancel sometimes, don’t like those at all. People behind me must think I’m some kind of nutter on occasion with me indicating left right left right lol.
Engine braking on the auto is hardly there, that’s my excuse for my SP30 anyway.
Boot floor panel is an optional extra!!!
All the above said I would recommend one and have another in a heartbeat.
