MINI Hatch review (2021)

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Having purchase a Mini for the first time and a top of the range version I was very pleased with the sales process via the supplying dealership. However the car itself left me disappointed, the build quality is not what I expected with interior plastics having a "cheap" feel. When driving the car suffers with various rattles, these appear to be interior panels and trim. Exterior bodywork also suffers from poor fit and a cheap feel. Areas such as rear bumper infill panels around the fog lights are particularly ill- fitting. I expected a relatively "sporty " ride quality when buying a JCW version but the car rattles over minor bumps / ripples in the road and the steering wheel needs constant minor correction which combined with the poor interior quality it makes a journey of any length tiring (75 miles +) When it comes to replacing the car next year I will be looking at alternative vehicle manufacturers.

How reliable do you find the car?

The vehicles reliable in terms it's never broken down, bearing in mind the low mileage. My complaints are about the build quality (poor)

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

The build quality of the vehicle doesn't meet my expectations bearing in mind the cost
