In their own words

Needed a bigger car because we have 3 dogs so needed space. My dad owned a mitsubishi lancer in the mid 90s and he loved it and was a great car to drive so I thought I would look at one. TooI a Suzuki Vitara for a test drive the day before but I feel the seat didn't supported my short legs enough, although it's a more modern car to then ASX. So has I jumped into the ASX it felt comfortable and just like driving a normal car with the usual dashboard. We drove a 3 car but my budget was only for a 2 but the car was fine, so bought a 1.6 petrol 2 version. Had the car for 18 months now and absolutely love it, ok is the base car so no reverse camera and no touch screen but we plan to keep the car for 15 years so less to go wrong. My previous car was a Skoda citigo Monte Carlo so handling on country roads is different but holds well in corners , engine is not to bad but you do need to change gear on steep hills. Seats are comfortable on long journeys and ok on the motorway. Rear space is good and so is the boot. Faults so far are the button you press to fold the mirrors in stopped working but that's was fixed and tyre pressure warning has come on a few times but i think that was for the temperature change and leaving a heavy load in the car overnight. Only one thing I don't like is when you go round roundabouts you can't judge where the kerb is due to the mirror blocking your view. Overall a cracking car.
