In their own words

Good points. Like the ability to switch on 4x4 when needed and run in two wheel drive most of time. Sure footed in rain/snowy/icy weather with good tyres on. The interior is comfortable and when the rear seats are down surprising large area in back. When rear seats up plenty of room to carry dog in luggage space. Reasonable leg room in back seats. Bad points. Surprisingly expensive for parts! Was horrified at cost of exhaust. The brakes seem to be an on going issue. Front and back, the back callipers especially and have needed to replace discs several times due to calipers seizing. On positive note the engine has been reliable, only issues related to ABS sensors and going into limp mode! Would I buy again. No.

How reliable do you find the car?

Issues with brake calipers seizing and requires new discs and brakes on regular basis!? To replace a section of the exhaust is extortionate! I found it cheaper to go and get a stainless steel one manufactured rather than pay £2000 for section that needed replaced. Be aware a complete one from Mitsubishi will cost over £4000 new! It ain’t any cheaper in Kwik fit either. Few issues with ABS units, front shocks and rods, rear anti roll bar and needed new hub unit. I know these are things that go on most cars but it is the regularity of them needing redone and the need to go through Mitsubishi for certain parts which is expensive.
