We bought it for towing a horse trailer which it does without any issues, be it on the road or across muddy fields. We have owned three Shoguns prior to this so knew what to expect. They are brilliant in 4WD and we have even given a relative lifts across the North Yorkshire Moors in the snow so they could get to and from work. Loads of space in the car with the extra 2 seats in the back should they be required. With all the rear seats folded down there’s quite a bit of space in it. Obviously it’s a 4WD built for that purpose so it isn’t the most refined ride however you probably wouldn’t buy one solely for that reason. Lots of space for kids in the rear seats, good entertainment system and sat nav. It does everything we need it to do and each one we have owned has been built like a tank, very reliable.
