£2150 for one with genuine 40K mileage, FSH and 0-60 in under seven secs in July 2001 - AA checked and approved for £180 - Fantastic!
Costs
Ridiculously cheap to buy, not had it long enough to know about running costs but insurance at Group 17 is a little pricey without full NCD.

On the road
Driving
Rear-wheel drive, fast, brilliant, need to watch those bends.
Performance
Unbelievably quick and powerful, 169 BHP, top speed over 135mph , 0-60 in 6.7 seconds (quicker than newer model), for the money its fantastic.

Reliability
So far so good but not had it long, all my friends who have had one have had no unusual problems as long as properly serviced - watch the turbo at 100K miles apparently.

Fastest and best looking car for the money - mine's silver and unmarked - not German or Italian, but then you cant expect one for this kind of money!
Comfort
Rear is cramped and for kids only, plenty room in the front, sports seats look good but could be more supportive.
