Value
I wouldn't like to buy one new. However, a very good value motor car when the age/devaluation factor have settled to acceptable levels.
Costs
Quite reasonble in terms of fuel (27-35mpg). Not suprisingly fuel costs mount if driven hard for long periods. In such cases there should be ample time to save up whilst sitting out your driving ban!

Both feels and acts the part.
Performance
Will put a smile on your face. Though the power drops off significantly over 5000 rpm. Manageable in the wet but take care!
