Nissan Micra Hatchback (2003 - 2010) 1.4 Acenta 5d Auto Owner Review

Plucky little town car, very easy to drive, smooth automatic gearbox and engine combination. I have owned for nearly four years at the time of this review and covered approx 18000 miles in that period. The only thing that has needed replacing was the right front spring which seems to be farely common on these and the sister car (Renault Clio.)
The rear parking sensors have recently stopped working, probably an easy fix but tbh I don’t find them necessary on such a small car.
The interior is nice and basic with not much to go wrong, proper chunky knobs for heater controls which you can actually adjust while on the move without taking your eyes off the road.
Engine power is reasonable and handles motorways pretty well although of course it’s much more suited to town and A/B roads.
Overall I would say don’t overlook these cars- they are good value, reliable and simple/ cheap to repair and maintain.
