How reliable do you find the car?

I have owned a 2007 note since 2012 and I can honestly say it’s the best car i’ve ever had (so good that I’ve now got a new car and willed it on to my parents as the height entry point means my dad can enjoy driving again as he can no longer get into lower down cars due to arthritis). I have only had two main issues with the car…the clutch went at about 96000 miles and now, at 133000 the brake calliper went (this was entirely down to my lack of maintenance). My petrol note has been an absolute workhorse and has never failed to return less than 50/60 mpg on long trips….not so good running around but what car is! It’s sailed through all its mots apart the normal wear and tear. So easy and comfortable to drive, I’m sad to see her go. The older ones may look a little ugly but if you’re not bothered about looks give it a go.
