Nissan Note (2006 - 2013) 1.6 Acenta 5d Owner Review

1.6 Acenta 5d
Nissan Note 2006

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

It's a slightly odd car in a way (big boxy version of a supermini/MPV scaled down) but I kind of like that. It's brilliant to drive in all sorts of conditions and will handle anything you throw at it (as I often have). The 1.6 engine isn't exactly elegant, but rev it positively and it will deliver and then some!

How reliable do you find the car?

No major issues. Some clutch wear and one of the rims needed refurbishing as it was leaking air. CD stuck in CD player, but I'm happy with the Aux port

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

I bought it to replace the Aygo as I needed something with more power to handle country roads. It was way bigger than I was expecting and felt like driving a van at first but it's surprisingly nimble. It has lots of boot space and rear passenger space and comes with handy little folding tray tables! It has good firm suspension, a tight turning circle and can squeeze through spaces easily. The engine is amazing but needs high revs to feel the benefits. It can be a bit noisy getting to 70mph but it quiets down after a couple of miles of coasting.
