What does this car say about you?

Someone who likes good reasonable quality, but wont be taken for a ride by some other more expensive car manufacturers, or ripped off by cheaper manufacturers. Proud to be supporting Britain's car industry, as all the Nissan Note's are made in Sunderland. Also knows that Britain has some of the best engineering teams, and Japan has some of the best technology teams, and the two coming together works really well.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They all think it is a very nice car, some think it looks quite small from the outside but are then really surprised when they see the inside. One friend went and bought the same car after seeing mine, and a few have said they are really considering it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely. Really nice car to drive Very reliable Built in Britain so supporting British jobs Superb Japanese technology

What are you likely to buy next?

Half and half between another Nissan Note and the Nissan Qashqai. Whatever I buy next I would certainly try and get something built in Britain, and would love it to have Japanese technology in it.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Very good deal, got it on the motability car scheme, paid an extra £100 to have the extras included like ESP and during last winter having ESP really paid off and prevented the car from skidding everywhere.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

My Aunty had a Nissan Primera and always thought it was an amazing car to be in, and then saw the advert for the Nissan Note which just looked perfect.

    What was the dealer like?

Very friendly dealer. Had the car serviced at Widnes Nissan also. Excellent team there, very friendly and great set of people. Give my mum a bouquet of flowers when we took delivery of the car, and have always been absolutely superb. Very quick when servicing, and car always comes back immaculate, even washed and valeted. Superb team!

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

Brilliant to drive, 1.6l engine really has some get up and go and can leave a lot of other cars standing at traffic lights. At roundabouts it has plenty of get up and go is small enough to easily get into the gaps in traffic. Only one slight problem is when people undertake as the cars disappear alongside the window bars on the passenger side, but then again that is why undertaking is illegal.

    What's it like to park?

Really easy to park, goes in most spaces either backwards or forwards. I always prefer to reverse it in, so I can get out easily, it is extremely manoeuvrable. Only one slight problem with this version is the tinted back windows because when reversing at night on some dark streets you can't see behind you through the tinted windows so have to be extra careful.

What's most practical about your car?

The sliding back seats and how versatile all the storage space in the car is, and all the little cubby holes to put items into, especially the one on the middle of the dashboard, ideally located to rest a Sat Nav in, with Auxiliary connections to the radio

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The car radio/cd player with it's conveniently placed auxiliary connection in the dashboard and it's bluetooth connection for phone with buttons on the steering wheel to answer the phone.
