Didn't buy it new, but as a 1yr old ex-fleet car...good price and good condition, cheaper than I would have had to pay for a similar sized "more fashionable" car.

Except servicing we've hardly spent a penny on it, although it chews up front tyres, but that's probably my heavy right foot!

Power steering's not too light, for a family car it goes pretty much where you put it on the road and stays there. Brakes, gearbox and clutch all work well and have put up with four years of abuse with minimal attention.

    Performance

Plenty quick enough for a large(ish) family hatch, although it drinks petrol if you drive it hard. Also used for pulling a 6x4 trailer for garden rubbish etc, no trouble with that either.

Turn the key, it starts...does exactly what we bought it for!

Hmm. Think East London minicab! Still, if you want a reliable, safe family car and would rather sit inside it than stare at it from outside, this is definitely the way to go.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

I'm 6'3"" and my wife's 5'2"" and we both manage to find a good driving position with no bother. Driver's seat has plenty of adjustment. More room than you'd expect in the rear seats, even I fit in!

No problems. Used Main Dealer for servicing until warranty period expired, now use local service garage.
