Would you buy this car again and why?
When it works, it does what I need it to - perfectly. I don't believe there is a competitor that comes close to it, in many ways. However, its reliability leaves a lot to be desired.
What are you likely to buy next?
If I could afford it, I'd buy a Toyota Land Cruiser.

It does everything I need it to. When it's working. This is the 4th report I've written about the same vehicle. The vehicle has now done 56 000 miles.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Since my last report, I've had a number of intermittent faults - none of which has been found or fixed. 1) Engine wouldn't shut off. 2) Engine cut-out. 3) Engine lost power. Each of these problems has caused a lot of aggravation and lost time. No one can find the problem. The car runs perfectly between faults and fixes itself after each of them. I have lost a lot of confidence in the vehicle - especially as I have a 25 ft caravan to tow with it and haven't been able to make much use of it because of these faults. As a result, I have to downgrade the star rating I originally gave it.
